It is with deep sadness and heartfelt sympathy that I inform you of the passing of Robert Faust, the first elected National Commander of the Sons of The American Legion.
Commander Faust’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to our organization helped lay the foundation for generations of Sons who have followed in his footsteps. His contributions to the Sons of The American Legion and to The American Legion Family will not be forgotten.
On behalf of the Sons of The American Legion, we extend our sincerest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.
May he rest in peace, and may we honor his legacy through our continued service to veterans, their families, and our communities.
